I didn't grow up skateboarding (too tall and uncoordinated for my age), snowboarding (too poor), or surfing (see skateboarding), but I admired those who did and regret my lack of experience now.
I still find these sorts of transportation/movement/sport fascinating, but I'm dubious about innovations like the unfortunately named hoverboards of recent vintage.
Onewheel seems different somehow. Maybe it's the analog looking design or the advertised use out in nature, but this is an innovation I can get behind. Though I'd still probably roll my eyes at a guy approaching middle age rolling to work on one.
